75% Embroidered Patches
- Coverage: Roughly 75% of the patch is covered in thread, leaving about 25% of the background fabric exposed.
- Look & Feel: Offers a nice textured contrast between the raised embroidered details and the flat background.
- Best For: Most standard logos, promotional patches, and moderately detailed designs.
- Cost: Moderate.
100% Embroidered Patches
- Coverage: 100% full thread coverage. None of the background twill fabric is visible.

Five Ways to Apply Personalized Patches
Sew On Patches
Use a heavy-duty needle with 100% polyester thread on sturdy fabrics like denim or canvas, but avoid waterproof materials to prevent puncturing the moisture barrier.
Stick On Patches
Apply only to clean, dry surfaces for temporary or single-day events, and remember they must be sewn down if you want them to survive a washing machine cycle.
Safety Pin Patches
Avoid pinning onto delicate or tightly woven fabrics to prevent permanent puncture holes, and always remove them before laundering to avoid rust stains and torn garments.
Iron On Patches
For bags & clothes, single-layer adhesive gives a lightweight, flexible finish on soft fabrics. For hats, double-layer ultra-bond adhesive helps edges stay locked flat on curved crowns.
Heat Press Patches
Calibrate to industrial parameters and always use a Teflon sheet. For PVC patches, heat-press from the reverse side at 300°F–310°F under heavy pressure for 20–25 seconds with a Teflon buffer.

Embroidered suits medium-to-large logos. Woven is best for small text. Printed handles photos and gradients. PVC is ideal for raised molded detail.
